DENTON, Texas (Feb. 25, 2022) – After being on the road for the last four meets, the Texas Woman's University gymnastics team returns home to Kitty Magee Arena to host a quad meet on Feb. 25.
On Friday night at 6 p.m., TWU will host No. 6 Louisiana State University, University of Pittsburgh and Centenary College.
This will be the first meeting between the Pioneers and LSU this season, but TWU competed against Pittsburgh and Centenary in KMA earlier this year.

SHINE BRIGHT TONIGHT
- SCORES ON THE RISE: Last week, the Pioneers competed in a pair of meets in California. In their meet at Sacramento State, TWU posted their highest team score since 2018 – a 195.425, which gave them second place at the quad meet. The Pioneers have been hitting their stride on most events, so they will look to improve their team season high tonight in front of the home crowd.
- 9.900s: Against UC – Davis, the Pioneers scored four 9.900s, which notched their highest individual performances of the season. Madeline Gose earned two 9.900s – one on floor and one on beam. Sierra Muns finished with a 9.900 on floor, and Steelie King posted a 9.900 on beam. Look for these three Pioneers and others to hit that 9.900 mark again tonight.
- NO FEAR FRESHMAN – The TWU freshmen continue to post career highs at every single meet, making a huge impact on the overall team scores. Last week, Emily Six scored a career high on beam and Sierra Muns posted a career-high 9.900 on floor. Emerson Adams continues to remain a constant in the vault rotation, consistently scoring high.
