TWU TENACITY
- WINNING MENTALITY: On Friday, the Pioneers placed two close games against Cameron. In the first game, they held the Aggies to only two runs, but lost 2-0. Then, they turned around and beat Cameron 3-1 in the second game. The Pioneers must maintain the same winning and battling mentality against OC today.
- DAZZLING DEFENSE: In two games against Cameron on Friday, TWU allowed the Aggies to score a total of three runs. Their pitching staff and defense played solid throughout the day to help the Pioneers get out of innings and keep the game close. If the Pioneers can remain within striking distance, they can give themselves a chance to win.
- HAPPY HITS: The Pioneers recorded eight hits in their win over Cameron. Nya Brown and Lily Wilson led TWU with two hits each, and Alexys Ginegaw recorded a double in the game. TWU will have to hit well and put the ball in play against the Eagles to get a win on Sunday.
