PIONEER POWER
- OVER THE MOON: Against Oklahoma Christian on Sunday, Paige Tamayo crushed her third home run of the season over the left field fence. The home run marked Tamayo's 21st of her career. Tamayo's home run happened against Oklahoma Christian's pitcher Kali Crandall, who has only given up four home runs all season. The Pioneers will look to hit some home runs against LCU on Friday.
- LOW SCORING: Last weekend, against Cameron, TWU only gave up a combined five runs. Then, against Oklahoma Christian, the Pioneers held the Eagles to their second and third lowest number of runs in a nine game homestand. TWU has been strong on defense, and they will need to be strong on defense against LCU on Friday.
- ERROR FREE: On Sunday, the Pioneers committed zero errors in game two against Oklahoma Christian. Committing limited errors will lead to success for the Pioneers against LCU.
