LET'S ROCK KMA
- PROTECT KMA: Last season, the Pioneers had a winning record in KMA. They won eight games at home in 2021. TWU will look to continue to improve that record in front of their home crowd. KMA provides a true home-court advantage for the Pioneers.
- YOUNG SQUAD: In 2022, the Pioneers welcomed five true freshmen to the team. With two redshirt freshmen, four sophomores and three redshirt sophomores, the Pioneers boast a young team this season. Nevertheless, TWU has shown that this fact is a strength. At the Union Volleyball Classic, freshman Tori Woods was honored on the All-Tournament Team, after recording 31 kills, 12 aces and 52 digs. The Pioneers' young roster will continue to make an electric impact on the outcome of matches.
- BLAST FROM THE PAST: The Pioneers have faced three of their four opponents before. The lone outlier that they have not faced in competition is Northwestern Oklahoma State. In their previous meetings, the Pioneers defeated Missouri Southern and Fort Hays State but lost to Ouachita Baptist; however, the Pioneers hold overall most wins in their meetings with Ouachita Baptist, 8-4. TWU is 5-5 all-time against Missouri Southern and 2-1 all-time against Fort Hays State.
