St. Charles, Mo. (Jan. 29, 2023) – The Texas Woman's gymnastics team is set to meet another Midwest Independent Conference opponent in a tri-meet on Sunday.
TWU will compete at Lindenwood against the Lions and No. 14 Missouri on Sunday afternoon. March-in will begin at 1 p.m.
The Pioneers last competed on Friday, Jan. 27 at Southeast Missouri State and scored a 193.325.
TWU will look to continue to make positive strides against Lindenwood and Missouri.

- TDUB AT SEMO: The Pioneers had six gymnasts record notable career highs: Maddie Griffith with a 9.850 on bars, Ruby Goad with a 9.750 on floor, Kami Zarlengo with a 9.750 in her floor debut, Daisy Woodring with a 9.850 on floor, Kyla Podges with a 9.675 on floor, and Emily Six with a 9.825 on beam. The Pioneers also recorded a team season-high on vault of a 48.775.
- LIONS IN 2023: Lindenwood has competed in four meets so far this season. Their season-high is a 196.175, which they recorded on Friday, Jan. 20 at the Tennessee Collegiate Classic. At the Classic, Gayla Griswold was the Lions top performer on three of the four events, scoring a 9.800 or higher on vault, beam and floor. Additionally, the Lions excelled on floor, as every gymnast scored a 9.800 or higher in the event.
- TIGERS IN 2023: Missouri is currently ranked No. 14 in the nation. They have competed in three meets this season. The Lions have a season-high score of a 196.975, which they hit against No. 23 Illinois on Sunday, Jan. 8. Most recently, they competed in a dual against No. 13 LSU, where they fell with a team score of 196.525. The Tigers best rotation against LSU was floor, where they scored a 49.275. Their high individual score on floor was a 9.900 from Amari Celestine.
