LAWTON, Okla. (Oct. 12, 2023) – After a three game home stand, the Texas Woman's volleyball team goes on the road for their next two Lone Star Conference matches.
 
TWU (13-4, 5-1) will meet Cameron (3-16, 0-6) on the first leg of their road trip in Lawton, Oklahoma on Friday, Oct. 13 at 5:30 p.m. Then, following their match in Oklahoma, the Pioneers will travel to Canyon, Texas to face West Texas A&M (15-2, 5-1).
 
On the season, the Pioneers are currently 3-1 on the road and have only lost one LSC match on the road to Angelo State in four sets.
 
TWU has won its last three LSC matches and swept their opponents in all three victories. The Pioneers will look to keep their streak going on the road this weekend.

PIONEER ROAD TRIP

• HISTORY WITH THE AGGIES: The Pioneers are 41-24 all-time against Cameron. TWU is currently on its longest win streak of the series, as they have defeated the Aggies in their last 13 meetings, dating back to 2015. On the road in Lawton, Oklahoma, the Pioneers are 14-14. In 2022, the Pioneers met the Aggies twice in Denton, Texas. They swept Cameron in both meetings. Of the last 13 straight wins over Cameron, seven of them have been sweeps, including the last four wins in a row.
• HISTORY WITH THE LADY BUFFS: TWU is 9-47 all-time against the 2022 Division II National Champions. They have lost the last two meetings with the Lady Buffs. They last defeated WT in 2019 on the road in Canyon, Texas in four sets. The Pioneers last swept the Lady Buffs in 2015 on the road. TWU is 2-25 all-time when facing WT on the road and 6-27 in LSC action.
