DENTON, Texas (Nov. 4, 2023) – In their final home match of the regular season, the Texas Woman's volleyball team will meet Texas A&M – Kingsville in Kitty Magee Arena on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
TWU (17-7, 9-4) will meet fourth in the Lone Star Conference TAMUK (18-6, 10-2) for Senior Day in KMA.
The Pioneers defeated Texas A&M International in four sets last night in KMA, while the Javelinas defeated Midwestern State on the road Friday night in four sets.
TAMUK was included along with the Pioneers on the first NCAA South Central Regional Ranking list, which was released in alphabetical order.
The Javelinas have only lost two LSC matches, falling to UAFS and Oklahoma on the road. They also recorded a loss to TAMIU in a nonconference meeting, falling in four sets to the Dustdevils.

SENIOR DAY IN KMA
- A FAMILIAR FOE: The Pioneers and the Javelinas have met 51 times. TWU owns the advantage across the meetings, winning 37 out of the 51. Nevertheless, the Pioneers have lost the last two matches against TAMUK on the road in Kingsville, Texas, falling in three sets in 2021 and 2022. The last time TWU defeated the Javelinas was in 2019 at home in KMA, when the Pioneers won in four sets.
- LAST NIGHT: TAMUK hit .234 in their win over Midwestern State on 50 kills. No. 14 outside hitter Meghan Stiefer led the Javelinas with 13 kills. No. 12 setter Elisa Carli led with 26 assists, and No. 2 defensive specialist Isabel Neu led with 19 digs. TAMUK recorded five aces and 10 blocks in the win over Midwestern State.
- TWU AGAINST TAMIU: The Pioneers hit .246 in the win over TAMIU and matched their most kills in a match this season with 65. Three Pioneers recorded double-digit kills – Saylor, Tori Woods and Kady Hansen. Luna França finished with her first double-double of the season, with 11 kills and 23 digs. Grace Reynolds topped the leader board with 27 assists. The Pioneers added six aces and two blocks in the win.
