TUESDAY NIGHT TIP OFF
  • A LOOK AT THE HISTORY: TWU and HU have met eight times, dating back to their first meeting in 1997. Consecutively, the Pioneers have met the Lady Bisons three straight years in 2021, 2022 and now 2023. TWU has lost the last two meetings against HU – one at a neutral site and one at home in KMA last season. The Pioneers last defeated the Lady Bisons in 2011 at a neutral site. They have not traveled to Searcy, Ark. since the 1999-2000 season – a meeting which the Pioneers lost 67-64. During the 2022-23 season, TWU lost to HU in overtime by four points.
  •  WINNING STREAKS: The Pioneers are currently on a five-game win streak this season – the only contest they have lost was on the road against Henderson State. HU has won their last eight straight after losing their season opener on Nov. 10 to Missouri Southern State on the road. At home in Rhode-Reaves Field House, the Lady Bisons have not lost since Nov. 12, last season. TWU will look to end the Lady Bisons' winning streak and secure their 11th win of the season on Tuesday night.
  • FORCE TURNOVERS: Currently, the Pioneers force their opponents into an average of 14.3 turnovers per game, and they score 14.3 points off those turnovers per game. TWU currently commits 2.1 less turnovers per game than their opponent. HU, on the other hand, averages 14 turnovers per game, which is 1.3 more turnovers per game than their opponents. TWU will look to defend well on Tuesday to get the win over the Lady Bisons.
