DENTON, Texas (March 10, 2023) – Texas Woman's (13-11, 7-8) softball will be pretty in pink for Saturday's double header against West Texas A&M (18-3, 9-3) on March 11 at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Dianne Baker Field.

Following Saturday's matchup TWU will conclude the three-game series Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m.

In honor of the survivors and warriors of breast cancer the Pioneers will be wearing pink to show their support and bring awareness to breast cancer. Alongside the Pioneers the Cancer Support Center of North Texas will be offering their services to any and everyone who stops by their table.

After a long week on the road in a three-game fall to the Angelo State Rambelles, the Pioneers have reset and are looking to extend their home record by three wins this weekend.

In game one against the Rambelles,
Alyssa LeBlanc made history by breaking three records on Tuesday, March 7. LeBlanc pitched for a total of 12.1 innings, the most innings pitched in TWU softball history since 2009, followed by the most strikeouts in Lone Star Conference and TWU history with 23.

The Pioneers were swept by the Rambelles with a score of 3-2 in game one, 6-0 in game two, and 10-0 in game three.
