DENTON, Texas (Oct. 4, 2024) – After a midweek road trip, the Texas Woman's volleyball team returns home for a meeting with first-year LSC opponent Sul Ross State.
TWU (7-5, 1-2) will meet SRSU (1-7, 1-1) on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. in Kitty Magee Arena.
This week, the Pioneers fell in three sets to UT Tyler on Wednesday night. The Lobos will play tonight against Midwestern State, before meeting TWU tomorrow.

- A LOOK AT THE LOBOS: SRSU has won one LSC match, defeating St. Edward's in four sets in their opening LSC match. The Lobos are hitting .110 on the year and allowing opponents to hit .244. They average just 0.8 blocks per set, while allowing 2.1 blocks per set. They have 31 service aces on the season and 33 service errors on the season. Their leading attacker is No. 8 Natalie Hernandez, who averages 3.19 kills per set.
- HISTORY: The Lobos and the Pioneers have only met one time, back in 1988. In that meeting the Pioneers swept SRSU at home in Denton, Texas.
- TWU LSC LEADERS: Grace Reynolds currently ranks fifth in the LSC in service aces, averaging 0.41 per set. Reynolds also ranks ninth in the LSC in assists with 6.25 per set. Kady Hansen ranks 11th in hitting percentage, averaging .327 on the season. Cara Pool ranks 12th in blocks with 0.81 per set, and Luna França currently sits in ninth in digs, averaging 4.14 per set.
