Dear Soccer,

    After 20 incredible years, it's time to say goodbye. You've been so much more than just a sport. You have shaped who I am and led me from California to Texas, where I started an entirely new chapter. Through you, I've found my best friends, created unforgettable memories, and experienced the joy of traveling across the United States to compete at a high level. You've taught me invaluable lessons such as time management, responsibility, hard work, balance, and resilience, each one becoming a cornerstone of my character. You've shown me how to handle challenges with grace, how to persevere when things seem impossible, and how to juggle life's demands without losing sight of my goals. If younger me could see where this journey has taken us, she would be so proud of how far we've come, how much we've accomplished, and how much we've grown together. For all the ways you've helped me become the person I am today, I thank you, and though I'll no longer be playing, I'll carry your lessons and the love I have for you with me forever.
