Dear soccer,

As I close out a chapter of my life that has been so important I am filled with many emotions. You have given me so many things to be thankful for - lifelong relationships, tons of opportunities, and most importantly the chance to glorify God through the abilities I was given. 
The countless hours spent on the field, the sweat, the tears and the success has all helped shape me into who I am today. But more than just the sport, it's the friendships I've made, the bonds I've built, and the lessons I've learned that I'll carry with me forever. You have not only taught me about teamwork, discipline, and resilience, but you've also introduced me to people who will be in my life forever. Thank you for giving me so much joy over the past 17 years. I am more than thankful for TWU and the opportunities I was given here. I know this journey has come to an end, but God has great plans for my future and I know that I wouldn't be who I am today without soccer.
