FRISCO, Texas (March 2, 2024) – After clinching the Lone Star Conference Regular Season title on Thursday, the Texas Woman's basketball team will have the No. 1 seed in the 2024 LSC Women's Basketball Championship.

The LSC released the official bracket on Saturday after the conclusion of the final regular season games.

The Pioneers will face the No. 8 seed UAFS in the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 8 at 6 p.m.

On TWU's side of the bracket is the No. 4 seed Texas A&M International and No. 5 Lubbock Christian, who will square off in the quarterfinal round on Friday, March 8 at 8:30 p.m.

The other side of the bracket features No. 2 UT Tyler versus No. 7 West Texas A&M at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, and No. 3 UT Permian Basin against No. 6 Angelo State at 12 p.m.

The semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 9, and the championship will be played on Sunday, March 10 at 3:30 p.m.

The Pioneers enter the tournament having won 16 of their last 17 games. Last season, TWU was the tournament runner-up. This season marks the Pioneers'  19th appearance in the LSC Tournament.
