DENTON, Texas (March 27, 2024) - The Texas Woman's softball team hits the road tomorrow for a series with Oklahoma Christian on Thursday and Friday, March 28-29.
TWU (16-19, 14-10) will take on OC (21-14, 17-10) for the first time this season in hopes of bouncing back after dropping their non-conference double-header against Southeastern Oklahoma. The first game will be on Thursday, March 28, at 6 p.m. and the final double-header games are on Friday, March 29 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Last week, the Pioneers fell short versus Southeastern Oklahoma in the two-game series. Southeastern Oklahoma took both games with final scores of 5-4 and 7-0. Oklahoma Christian enters the matchup after going 3-0 in Wichita Falls in their conference series against MSU, 8-0, 3-0, and 4-3.
The Pioneers have an away record of 6-10 thus far and will look to improve this week against the Eagles.

Oklahoma Christian won the series 2-1 the last time out against the Pioneers last year in their battle in Denton, Texas. TWU took game one of the series with a score 3-0, and then fell to the Eagles in games two and three. The Eagles currently lead the all-time series between the two teams, 15-10.
TWU prepares for their road matchup starting Thursday, March 28, against OC, who ranks fifth in the LSC while the Pioneers sit in ninth place.
