DENTON, Texas (March 9, 2024) – It's March, which means postseason time for Texas Woman's basketball!

The Pioneers are preparing to go dancing in the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament. The final tournament seeding will be announced on Sunday, March 10 at 9:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.

TWU, in partnership with Embassy Suites, will be hosting a Selection Show Watch Party on Sunday. The Watch Party will be held at Embassy Suites Denton (3100 Town Center Tr. Denton, TX 76201). Doors will open at 8:30 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be provided. The event is open to the public and is free of charge.

TWU, a member of the South Central Region, which includes Lone Star Conference programs and Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference programs has been ranked No. 1 on the latest NCAA South Central Regional Rankings. The South Central Regional tournament will feature the Top 8 Regional selections from the LSC and RMAC schools. The LSC Champion and the RMAC Champion will receive automatic bids, while the final six will be at-large bids. On Sunday via stream, the regional bracket and host location will be announced.
