RICHARDSON, Texas (Dec. 8, 2025) – After helping lead the Pioneers to a 2-0 start in Lone Star Conference action,
Averee Kleinhans was named the
LSC Offensive Player of the Week.
Last week, TWU defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville and Texas A&M Interntional on the road. Kleinhans averaged 15 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game. She also shot 47.8% from the field on the week, 60% from the three point line and 100% from the free throw line. On the defensive end, she grabed four total steals on the week. Against TAMUK, she scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds, recorded a season high three steals and dished out five assists. Then, in the win over TAMIU, she scored a season high 20 points on 8-of-11 from the field and 3-of-4 from the three point line. She also grabbed nine rebounds and dished out five assists in the win.
On the week, TWU held their opponents to an average of 48 points and 33.3% from the field.
Elliott currently ranks sixth in the LSC in scoring (15.3 per game), 11th in rebounding (6.5 per game), eighth in field goal percentage (48.4%) and third in assists (3.9 per game).

Beth Jillson said. "Each game, she continues to grow and make impactful play for us. We are proud of her for achieving this honor for two great games in LSC action."
This marks the fourth LSC Player of the Week honor for the Pioneers this season.
