Dear Basketball,

For many years, you gave me more than just a game, you gave me purpose, discipline, and memories that will stay with me for a lifetime. Through every early morning workout, every tough loss, and every hard fought win, you shaped me into the person I am today. You taught me resilience when things did not go my way, humility in moments of success, and the importance of showing up every single day ready to work.

As this chapter comes to an end, my heart is full of gratitude. I thank Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior for blessing me with the strength, opportunity, and guidance to walk this journey. I am forever thankful for my family and friends whose love and support never wavered and carried me through every high and low. To my teammates and coaches, thank you for being more than just part of the game, thank you for your love, belief, and for pushing me to grow.

Basketball, you will always be a part of me. While my time playing at this level has come to an end, the lessons you have given me will stay with me forever. This game gave me relationships, memories, and a foundation that will carry me into whatever comes next, and for that I am forever grateful.
