CANYON, Texas (April 28, 2024) – For the first time since 2017, the Texas Woman's softball team is postseason bound.

With the conclusion of the 2024 regular season on Saturday, April 27, the Pioneers claimed the No. 7 seed in the Lone Star Conference Tournament and will return to the conference championships for the first time since 2017.

TWU closed the LSC schedule with a 23-19 conference record to rank seventh.

West Texas A&M claimed the No. 1 seed and will host the LSC Tournament, which being on Thursday, May 2. In the opening round of the tournament, the Pioneers will face the No. 10 seed Eastern New Mexico at 11 a.m.

During the season, the Pioneers went 2-1 against the Greyhounds, scoring 16 total runs across the two wins. With a win against ENMU, TWU would face the No. 2 seed UT Tyler at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 2.

All games will be stream on the LSC Digital Network. Fans can purchase each game for $15. Customers who have a monthly or yearly pass will have access to all games.

The semifinals of the LSC Tournament will take place on Friday, May 3, followed by the Championship Game on Saturday, May 4.
