DENTON, Texas (March 31, 2026) - The Texas Woman's team (22-16, 16-8) heads west this week for a pair of conference doubleheaders, beginning Wednesday in Portales against Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds at noon and 2 p.m., followed by games Friday at 4 and 6 p.m. in Canyon against No.1 West Texas A&M Lady Buffs.
The Pioneers split doubleheaders at home last weekend against Midwestern State Mustangs and Lubbock Christian Chaparrals. Texas Woman's extended their winning streak to eight games with a 14-0 run-rule victory in the opener against Midwestern State before the Mustangs responded with a win in Game 2. The Pioneers then split with Lubbock Christian.

A LOOK AT THE LADY BUFFS: West Texas A&M leads the standings and enters the weekend on an 18-game winning streak. The Lady Buffs' only conference loss came Feb. 20 against Oklahoma Christian Eagles. Since then, they have won 18 straight, including recent victories over Midwestern State and Eastern New Mexico.
