DENTON, Texas (April 6, 2024) - The Lone Star Conference series between the Texas Woman's softball team and Eastern New Mexico, originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, April 9 and 10, has been rescheduled due to weather concerns.
The doubleheader of the conference series will be played on Sunday, April 9 at 2 pm and 4 pm. The lone game was rescheduled for Monday, April 10 at 10:30 am. All games will be played in Denton, Texas at Dianne Baker Field.

A LOOK AT THE TEAMS

TWU (17-24, 15-15) and ENM (20-18, 13-17) come into the series with two losses and a win in their series against St. Mary's and Midwestern State respectively. .

The Greyhounds are currently in the tenth position in the conference rankings just under TWU who sit ninth.

With only a few games left and ten teams qualifying to the LSC postseason, both teams will look to solidify their places in the top ten of the conference.

The Pioneers own the overall record between these teams 67-27 with an impressive 46-17 home record.

The last five games between the Pioneers and the Greyhounds have been played in ENMU territory, Portales, New Mexico. The Greyhounds took four of those victories at home.

TWU took home a massive 11-0 at the last match played nearly a year ago on April 12, 2023.
