Dear Softball, 

You gave a little girl a chance to fulfill her dreams, you've given me 20 years of friendships, life lessons, successes, failure and so much more and I couldn't thank this sport enough.

When I got to college I didn't ever see my self staying through all of my eligibility, but here I am ending my career of all 5 years.

You have been nothing but good to me, you helped me grow as a person, teammate and a leader. You have given me life long friendships, family, confidence, accountability and coaches that have cared so much without having to ask or beg for it. You've taught me to fight and work for what I wanted and through it all it has been nothing but continuous life lessons.

This sport has given me championships, awards and so much more, and I will be forever grateful for it. Thank you for all the memories you have created for me through all of the ups and downs. You have showed what matters. I would not be the same person I am today if it wasn't for softball. I have left everything I had on the field.

Thank you softball - you will forever be apart of me. TWU, thank you for making me fall in love with my sport again and welcoming me with open arms when I was looking for a home. Wearing the name across my chest has been such a honor. The last two years at TWU have been a roller coaster, but I wouldn't have changed it in any type of way. I gave this school everything I have and more. T-dub will always have a special place in my heart.
