TYLER, Texas (Oct. 4, 2025) – The Texas Woman's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season Saturday, falling 2-0 on the road to UT Tyler. The win marked the Patriots' first-ever victory over the Pioneers in the all-time series.
Despite the Pioneers (8-1-1, 4-1-1) controlling much of the pace, UT Tyler (6-1-2, 3-1-2) capitalized on second-half opportunities, scoring twice on four shots to secure the home win.

Credit to UT Tyler for converting two chances and making two goal-line stops on really good shots of ours. Your first loss of the season is always tough—especially after the start we've had—but we'll learn from it and bounce back."
