DENTON, Texas (Nov. 13, 2025) – For countless high school athletes, National Signing Day represents the moment a lifelong dream becomes reality. It's a celebration of persistence, passion and the exciting journey ahead - and for three future Pioneers, that journey begins right here at Texas Woman's University.
The Texas Woman's gymnastics program is thrilled to welcome Taylor Neumann, Zinnia Hopkinson, and Finley Arbolino to the Pioneer family as the newest members of the 2025 signing class.
"I am absolutely thrilled to add Finley, Taylor and Zinnia to our Pioneer Gymnastics family," Head Coach
Lisa Bowerman said. "The individual strengths of each of these young ladies complement each other to form a well-rounded class that will see great success in their time as TWU student-athletes. Collectively they possess a high level of character, talent and passion that will make an immediate impact on our team. I cannot wait to have them on campus next fall and to see all they accomplish as Pioneers!"
From Anahuac, Texas, Neumann has been competing in gymnastics for nine years and currently trains at AIM Athletics. A standout in Level 9 competition, she captured the 2025 State and Regional All-Around Championships and went on to claim the Level 9 Westerns Championship on vault and floor. Neumann also holds five "Top 100" scores on vault and floor and was part of the 2025 State, Regional and National Club Gym of the Year program. For her academic success, Neumann received the College Board Small Town Recognition Award, the College Board Rural and Small Town Recognition Award and the Masonic Lodge Honesty and Integrity Award. At TWU, she plans to major in kinesiology with a minor in psychology.
"When I visited TWU, I immediately fell in love with everything about it - the incredible academics, the supportive team and the amazing coaches. After seeing all of the opportunities TWU has to offer, I knew it was the perfect place to call my future home," Neumann said.
From Kingston, N.H., Hopkinson joins the Pioneers after 14 years of competitive gymnastics, including four at Level 10 with Beyond Gymnastics Club in Burlington, Mass. A decorated athlete, she was named the 2025 Boston Globe High School Athlete of the Year, the 2025 Boston Herald All-Scholastic Athlete and a two-time Merrimack Valley Conference All-Around Champion. She also qualified for the 2024 USAG National Bar competition and the 2023 USAG National All-Around meet. She also helped lead Central Catholic High School to its first-ever state championship in program history during the 2023-24 season. In 2024, Hopkinson received the Central Catholic Coaches Award. She has also been a member of the National Honors Society for three years. Hopkinson plans to major in pre-nursing at TWU.
"I chose TWU because of the positive culture and enthusiastic spirit the coaches, team and athletic staff have instilled in their gymnastics program. New Hampshire is a long way from Texas, but I felt so welcomed and at home during my campus visit. TWU has given me the opportunity to pursue a top-notch education in the health sciences, while competing at a high level with people who want to see me grow as both a person and a student athlete. I am blessed and excited to call myself a Pioneer," Hopkinson said.
From Winter Park, Fla., Arbolino joins TWU after 13 years of competitive gymnastics. She currently trains at Brandy Johnson's Global Gymnastics, following more than a decade at ACE Gymnastics. Arbolino is a two-time DP National Qualifier (2024 and 2025) and the 2025 Regional Floor Champion, while also earning bronze on floor at the 2024 regional meet. She has been part of multiple award-winning programs, including the 2024 and 2025 Regional Club of the Year, 2024 National Club of the Year and three-time Florida Club of the Year (2023–25). At TWU, she plans to major in biology.
"I decided to attend TWU because it felt like home. Before I even stepped foot on campus everyone I talked to seemed to just welcome me with open arms. Then when I finally did get on campus I didn't feel pressured to be anyone but myself, and to me that was the most important part of choosing a school. My parents also adored the school which only gave me more confidence in my decision. All of these different factors made TWU the school I want to attend and grow for the next 4 years," Arbolino said.
TWU Gymnastics is excited to welcome Taylor, Zinnia and Finley to Denton and to the Pioneer family.
