DENTON, Texas (Dec. 10, 2025) – Entering their fifth year as a program and third season competing in the Lone Star Conference, the Texas Woman's STUNT team has announced their 2026 competition schedule.
The Pioneers begin a new chapter under first year Head Coach Leslie Allen, the second head coach in program history. Allen takes the lead of a veteran roster, along with several key additions, as they continue to elevate TWU's competitive standard and build upon the program's continued growth.
"We are excited for the season! The Pioneers will be taking on new teams and looking forward to a strong competitive schedule," Allen said. "Our team has been working hard toward competitive excellence."
TWU will open the 2026 season on Feb. 1 in Lake Charles, La., at the McNeese Tournament, where the Pioneers will face Centenary and McNeese State. The following weekend, TWU travels to Dallas for the DBU Tournament on Feb. 6-7, with matchups against St. Edward's, Dallas Baptist, Texas A&M–Kingsville and the University of Texas.
Tournament play continues Feb. 13–14 as the Pioneers head to Shawnee, Okla., for the Oklahoma Baptist Tournament. TWU is slated to compete against Dallas Baptist, Missouri Baptist, Oklahoma Baptist and Maryville over the two-day event.
The Pioneers return home the following week for their first contests inside Kitty Magee Arena. TWU will host Hope International on Tuesday, Feb. 17, before welcoming Jessup on Thursday, Feb. 19, to cap a two-game homestand.
On Feb. 21, the Pioneers are back in Dallas for a neutral-site matchup against Arizona Christian, followed by another contest against LSC foe Texas A&M–Kingsville.
TWU then heads south to San Antonio for the St. Mary's Tournament from Feb. 28 to March 1. Across the weekend, the Pioneers will compete against St. Mary's, UC Davis and St. Edward's.
March continues with the St. Edward's Tournament in Austin on March 6-7, where TWU will face Ashland, Trevecca Nazarene, Central Arkansas and Ferris State. Game times for the tournament will be announced at a later date.
The postseason begins March 27 with the Lone Star Conference Tournament, where the Pioneers will compete for an opportunity to advance to the third LSC Championship event.
TWU will look to punch their ticket to Nationals and close the year at the National Tournament on April 23–25 in Nashville, Tenn.
