DENTON, Texas (Dec. 18, 2025) – This season, the Texas Woman's volleyball team pioneered excellence on the court and in the classroom.

For the 2025 season, two Pioneers were named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees: Kiana Reed and Myracle Stockman. 

"We appreciate all of their hard work both in the classroom and on the court," said TWU Volleyball Head Coach Jessica Ransom. "They exemplify what it means to truly be a student-athlete and have represented TWU Volleyball well."

According to the CSC, "the 2025 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA."

To be eligible for nominations, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA). Additionally, student-athletes must have competed in 90% of the institution's matches or must start in 66% of the institution's matches.

This marked the first CSC Academic All-District honors for Reed and Stockman. 

A senior setter, Reed will graduate with a degree in Kinesiology and currently holds a 3.87 GPA. During her senior season, Reed led the team with 690 total assists, averaging 6.22 per set. She also recorded 25 service aces and 300 digs. During the season, Reed eclipsed 1,500 career assists. 

A senior right side, Stockman will graduate with a degree in Psychology and currently boasts a 3.96 GPA. Stockman earned Second Team All-Lone Star Conference honors for the first time in her career after the 2025 campaign. She finished the season with 286 kills and tied for the lead on the team in hitting percentage, averaging .229 She also recorded 94 total blocks on the season.
