DENTON, Texas (Feb. 18, 2025) - The Pioneer Pride Dance Team competed last weekend at the 2025 USA Collegiate Championship in Anaheim, California, on Feb. 15-16.

This was their second year competing at the USA Collegiate Championship and their first time medaling, making program history by placing second in the Pom category.

The Pioneers competed against several universities from around the country. TWU participated in the USA Collegiate Championship as part of their preparation for the upcoming NDA Nationals in April. 

"Pioneer Pride makes program history by placing second in Pom at USA Collegiate Championship in Anaheim, California," said TWU Head Dance Coach Marisa Martin. "This is the second year the Pioneer Pride Dance Team has competed in the USA Collegiate Championships, and first time medaling. We are so proud of our athletes' continued growth and dedication to our journey to NDA Nationals in April!" 

The Pioneer Pride Dance Team's impressive performance and dedication have set a high standard as they look ahead to improve their routines for the NDA Nationals.
