DENTON, Texas (Oct. 8, 2025) – On Wednesday, the Texas Woman's Pioneer Pride Dance team announced the hiring of Jordana Bluitt-Collins as their Coach's Assistant.

"I'm very excited for Jordana to join the Pioneer Pride family," said Pioneer Pride Dance Head Coach Marisa Martin. "Four years ago, I had the joy of coaching Jordana as an athlete at the University of North Texas. Over the years, I've watched her grow into a strong dancer and leader in the Denton community and on the North Texas Dancers. For me, this is a full-circle moment, and I look forward to Jordana bringing her positive energy to the team and having her as my right-hand person."

Bluitt-Collins brings over 20 years of experience in the dance industry to the Pioneers staff, boasting a well-rounded background in performance, instruction and leadership development.

While pursuing her undergraduate degree at North Texas, Bluitt-Collins served for four years as a member and team captain of the North Texas Dance and Spirit Team. After graduating with her bachelor's degree in business entrepreneurship, she served as the Head Cheer Coach at Braswell High School in 2025. Additionally, Bluitt-Collins currently performs professionally as a member of the WNBA Dallas Wings Flight Crew. In this role, she represents the Dallas Wings at community events and during game-day.

Through her extensive background, Bluitt-Collins brings a wealth of experience in jazz, hip hop, pom and game day dance styles. She has not only had experience performing, but she has also choreographed for schools, studios and competition teams across the state of Texas. Bluitt-Collins is also certified as a dance judge for regional events.
