DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (April 20, 2026) - The Texas Woman's Pioneer Pride Dance Team claimed their second consecutive Division II Spirit Rally national championship at the 2026 NCA & NDA Collegiate Dance National Championship, held April 8-11.

Texas Woman's advanced to the finals in both events and secured first place in Spirit Rally, marking back-to-back titles in the category. The team also placed second in Division II Pom, the highest finish in program history.

Head coach Marisa Martin said the championship reflects the program's culture and daily commitment.

"Winning back-to-back national titles is a testament to the culture we've built within our program," Martin said. "Our athletes continue to raise the bar, pushing themselves and each other every day. To go back-to-back on the national stage while also achieving a program-best second-place finish in Pom is a defining moment for our team. It highlights the consistency, versatility and competitive drive that set this group apart."

The Pioneer Pride Dance Team's finishes in both categories mark a historic showing for the program at the national competition.
