DENTON, Texas (March 6, 2025) - The Texas Woman's softball team (10-6, 6-6) is set for weekend matchups at Dianne Baker Field, where they will host Western New Mexico (6-15, 3-9) and Eastern New Mexico (14-8, 7-5).

The Pioneers are coming off a tough road trip, facing Midwestern State and No. 5 West Texas A&M. This weekend marks the 24th and 25th meetings between TWU and WNMU, as well as the 99th and 100th matchups against ENMU. In their most recent series with the Mustangs, TWU won two of three games last season in Silver City, New Mexico. However, the Greyhounds controlled the series in Denton, Texas, winning two of three games in 2024.

On Sunday, March 2, the Pioneers split a doubleheader on the road, earning a 4-0 shutout in game two after suffering a 10-0 loss in game one to West Texas A&M. The win over the No. 5 team in the nation marked TWU's second top-10 victory of the season and their third ranked opponent win overall.
