TWU GETS SET FOR MEETING WITH NO. 4 CENTRAL OKLAHOMA

EDMOND, Okla. (Sept. 16, 2025) – The Texas Woman's volleyball team will wrap up their nonconference slate on Tuesday night with a road trip to Edmond, Okla., to face No. 4 University of Central Oklahoma at 6 p.m.

The Pioneers (6-2) enter their final nonconference test on a hot streak, having swept their last four opponents and extending their win streak to four matches. TWU looks to carry their strong momentum into the remainder of the Lone Star Conference schedule. 

Across the net, UCO (9-0) remains undefeated to start the 2025 season. The Bronchos, a member of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA), have collected wins over UT Dallas, UT Tyler, and Fairmont State, showcasing a balanced offense and strong defensive presence.

  • HISTORY WITH UCO: The Pioneers are 13-24 all-time against the Bronchos. TWU's last win over UCO came in 2008, while the Bronchos have taken the last five meetings in the series. On the road in Edmond, TWU is 6-11, and the Pioneers are looking to flip the momentum in Tuesday's contest.
