DENTON, Texas (Feb. 12, 2026) - Texas Woman's softball (2-6) opens their home schedule this weekend, hosting UT Tyler (8-4) at Dianne Baker Field.
The Pioneers began the 2026 campaign with back-to-back tournaments, competing in the DII Lone Star Classic in Mansfield, Texas, and the Alvy Early Memorial Classic.
This weekend marks the 18th and 19th all-time meetings between TWU and UT Tyler. The Patriots have won the previous 17 matchups, including two 8-0, five-inning victories in Tyler, Texas in their last meetings.
Texas Woman's enters the series after splitting the final day of the Memorial Classic on Sunday, Feb. 8. The Pioneers responded to an 8-5 loss to No. 24 Missouri Southern with a walk-off home run victory over Maryville to secure their second win of the season.
