Dear Soccer,

Thank you for everything you've taught me through my 20 years of playing. Because of you, I've created friendships that will last a lifetime and memories I'll carry forever. You showed me so much of myself that I didn't even know was there strength, discipline, heart, and resilience I didn't realize I had.

You were my safe place, my escape, and the thing that pushed me to grow even when it was hard. The little girl in me the one who first fell in love with the game would be so proud of how far I've come and everything I gave to you.

But I know I'm stepping into a new chapter, and everything you taught me is coming with me.

Thank you for shaping me and loving me the way only this game could.
