DENTON, Texas (March 26, 2026) - The Lone Star Conference honored the top performers in STUNT at their annual conference banquet Thursday night, with Texas Woman's earning 10 All-Conference selections and four LSC All-Academic honors.
Six Pioneers were named to the All-Conference First Team, highlighted by seniors Anna Cheek, graduate student Brooke Speights, and sophomore Julissa Cabrera, who each earned their second career First Team honors. Jasmine Monroe collected her third consecutive First Team selection, while junior Maddie Boren and freshman Jordan Thomas earned their first career First Team nods.
Four additional Pioneers secured All-Conference Second Team recognition, including Alicia Kenney, Jordan Mares, NaKarla Arriola, and Tanith Chappie. The honor marks the second career selection for both Kenney and Chappie.
In the classroom, Cabrera, Cheek, Chappie, and Speights were named to the LSC All-Academic Team, highlighting the program's continued success both academically and athletically.
"I'm incredibly proud of this group and the way they've competed all season," said head coach Leslie Allen. "To have this many student-athletes recognized by the conference says a lot about their work ethic and commitment to the program. They've balanced a high level of performance on the mat with success in the classroom. We're excited to see them carry that momentum into the postseason."
With the regular season complete, the Pioneers now turn their focus to postseason play. No. 3-seeded Texas Woman's will face No. 2 seed St. Mary's in the opening round of the LSC Championships on Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas.
