DENTON, Texas (April 19, 2026) - The Texas Woman's softball team finishes their four-game homecoming series weekend, splitting two games against No. 15 Oklahoma Christian before dropping two contests to Cameron on Sunday at Dianne Baker Field.
TWU (24-24, 18-16) snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-0 shutout victory over the Eagles (36-11, 28-8) in game one, but fell 6-4 in a tightly contested game two.
On Sunday, the Pioneers faced the visiting Aggies (26-23, 18-18), dropping the opener 1-0 in a 10-inning pitching duel before Cameron secured the series with a 4-1 win, limiting TWU to just one run on three hits.
Following the weekend, TWU sits in eighth place in the conference standings. Oklahoma Christian remains fourth, while Cameron moved into ninth.

TWU jumped out early, as Marissa Espinoza led off with a home run to give the Pioneers a 1-0 advantage.
