LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 15, 2026) - For the first time in her career, sophomore pitcher Randi Crawford earned Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association South Central First Team All-Region honors. Crawford becomes the first Pioneer to receive NFCA All-Region recognition since 2023, when Alyssa LeBlanc was also named an NFCA Division II All-American.
In addition to her First Team All-Region selection, Crawford was named Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Year, becoming the first Pioneer to earn the honor since 2013. She also collected First Team All-LSC honors for the first time in her career after earning All-Freshman Team recognition in 2025.
"This is such an exciting and much deserved honor for Randi," Head Coach Gay McNutt expressed. "It has been a lot of fun to watch Randi grow from her freshman year to now and I could not be more proud!"
Crawford finished the regular season with a 16-6 record and led the conference in ERA (1.98), shutouts (six), batting average against (.211) and strikeouts looking (34). She has also recorded 159 strikeouts in 155 2/3 innings pitched this season.
According to the NFCA, the awards honor softball student-athletes from the association's eight regions with first- and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominate student-athletes and vote on the teams. All honorees are eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
Conference players and pitchers of the year from member institutions are added to the second team if they are not already selected to an All-Region squad.

Crawford will automatically be considered for the All-America ballot. The 2026 NFCA Division II All-America teams will be announced Wednesday, May 27.
