DENTON, Texas (Nov. 4)
–After posting a 10-6-2 overall record and 5-4-1 in the Lone Star Conference, the TWU soccer team will advance to the 2015 LSC Championship Tournament. This year's tournament will held at the top-seed Angelo State on Nov. 5, 6 and 8.
The Pioneers will be the No. 3 seed and will face No. 6 Eastern New Mexico in the first round on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 5:00 p.m. at ASU Soccer Field. The other first round match will be between No. 4 West Texas A&M and No. 5 Midwestern State at 7:30 p.m. ASU and the No. 2 Texas A&M-Commerce will receive a bye.
TWU and ENMU winner will advance to the semifinals and take on A&M-Commerce on Friday, Nov. 6 at 5:00 p.m. ASU will face the winner of WTAMU and MSU at 7:30 p.m. The championship game is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 8 at 1:00 p.m. with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament.
All five games will be streamed live free of charge through the LSC's Stretch GameCentral portal (
