DENTON, Texas (Dec. 6) – The TWU gymnastics team held its annual Holiday Spectacular Sunday afternoon and entertained over 500 fans in Kitty Magee Arena.
"We had another fantastic crowd today and it is so exciting to host Holiday Spectacular every year," said TWU head coach
Lisa Bowerman. "It is so nice to see our Chancellor and President Dr. Feyten, TWU community, local fans and TWU alumni out here today and supporting our team."
The entire squad took part in the Holiday Spectacular and performed some of their routines. Eight returning gymnasts – sophomores
Tessa Jaranowski,
Schyler Jones,
Alyssa Kelly,
Brandi Lazarus,
Mallory Moredock,
Abigail Versemann and
Taylor Vincent and junior
Katie Simpson - had the opportunity to show off their skills for the first time since the 2015 season ended, while five freshmen –
Erin Alderman,
Jenna Cashmore,

Megan Gentry and
Kaitlyn Holley – made their collegiate debuts. Senior
