DENTON, Texas (Dec. 4, 2016) – Texas Woman's University gymnastics held its annual Holiday Spectacular intrasquad matchup Sunday afternoon inside a filled Kitty Magee Arena full of cheer and celebration.
The Pioneers were split into two teams, Team Elves and Team Reindeer, and the meet began with vault and balance beam before moving on to uneven bars and floor exercise. The Elves and Reindeer then joined together for a holiday dance before Santa Claus closed the afternoon by posing with fans for pictures.
The Pioneers open the 2017 season at the Arizona Tri-Meet Jan. 6 at 8 p.m. in competition against the Wildcats and Utah State.
