TWU Gymnastics introduces the 2018 Pioneers at Holiday Spectacular

DENTON, Texas (Dec. 3, 2017) - Texas Woman's University Gymnastics held their annual Holiday Spectacular Sunday afternoon inside Kitty Magee Arena to give fans an introduction to the 2018 squad and offer free holiday spirit, giveaways and pictures with Santa.

The Pioneer gymnasts were split into two groups for today's intrasquad competition. The Reindeer team was comprised of
Schyler Jones,
Alyssa Kelly,
Brandi Lazarus,
Morgan Colee,
Madison Dickson,
Hope Parkin,
Hunter Vincent and
Paige Stuyniski. The Elves team consisted of
Mallory Moredock, Abbie Versemann,
Taylor Vincent,
Erin Alderman,
Jenna Cashmore,
Megan Gentry,
Kaitlyn Holley,
Bridgette Peterson and
Bria Northrop.

This year's celebrity judges included TWU Provost, Dr. Alan Utter; TWU Associate Vice President for Student Engagement, Dr. Stephanie Krauth; TWU Assistant Director for the CARE Office, Jessica Burchfield; Embassy Suites of Denton Director of Sales, Todd Muilenberg; Game On Athletics Director of Performance Training, Angie Maffey; and President and CEO of United Way Denton, Gary Henderson.

The Pioneers open their season at home Jan. 12 by hosting Lindenwood at 7 p.m.
