DENTON, Texas (Feb. 1, 2018) - Texas Woman's University hosts Eastern New Mexico Thursday for a 7 p.m. contest and then Western New Mexico Saturday for a 2 p.m. game.

TWU picked up a crucial win last week versus UT Permian to keep a hold on the eighth and final spot in the Lone Star Conference tournament. TWU currently sits one game ahead of UTPB and two games behind Cameron. Senior forward Alexis Nezianya leads the team with averages of 11.8 points and 8.9 boards to rank 13^th in the Lone Star Conference in scoring and fourth in rebounding, as well as being tops in field goal percentage at .455 and fourth in blocks per game with 1.5. Junior guard Bri'anna Gray averages 10.1 points, while senior forward Whitney Apari totals 9.2 ppg. Junior guard KJ Stastny averages 8.8 points and is ranked 10th in the league in three-pointers made per contest with 1.5.
