GAME NOTES - TWU vs. WESTERN NEW MEXICO 

DENTON, Texas
- The Texas Woman's University softball team (1-4) will return home to the friendly confines of Dianne Baker Field on Friday, March 5, hosting Western New Mexico (0-0) in a Lone Star Conference doubleheader. First pitch is set for 3 p.m.

  • Live video and statistics are available at www.twuathletics.com. Fans can purchase a TWU softball daily pass for $10 that will give them 24 hours of access.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  • LIMITED ATTENDANCE - Attendance for TWU softball games will be limited to those on pass lists and TWU students. Individuals who have pass list codes or an active TWU student ID may sign up for tickets at www.twuathletics.com/tickets. No on-site ticket sales will be offered, and no one without a valid ticket will be admitted. Fans will be required to mask at all times and observe social distancing protocols. Ticket redemption is available at www.twuathletics.com/tickets.
  • FIRST TIME OUT - The Pioneers will be the first opponent for WNMU this season, as the Mustangs have not taken part in any of the early-season tournaments prior to opening LSC play. 
  • A REAL PAIGE TURNER - Infielder Paige Tamayo has powered the Pioneer lineup thus far this year with a team-high .462 average and two homers. Both of Tamayo's longballs came in the Pioneers' win over No. 3 Augustana - her second career multi-homer game. The junior now has 14 career homers.
