DENTON, Texas - The Texas Woman's University soccer team (1-0-1) will open the home portion of its 2021 schedule this weekend, hosting Regis on Friday at 7 p.m. and Colorado School of Mines at 11 a.m. on Sunday.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

• HOMEWARD BOUND - Friday's game kickstarts a stretch where TWU will play five of six contests at home. After the weekend series, TWU turns around to play Bridgeport on Thursday, Sept. 16. After opening LSC play with a short (ha!) trip to Portales, New Mexico, the Pioneers return home for LSC matchups with St. Mary's (9/25) and Oklahoma Christian (9/29) before  hitting the road yet again. 
• LIVE WITH REGIS - BUT NOT KATHIE LEE OR KELLY - The Pioneers hold a 1-0-1 all-time record against Regis, with a 2-1 victory coming on Sept. 3, 2016 in Denver. The two squads tied 0-0 on Sept. 3, 2017. 
• IT'S MINE, YOU UNDERSTAND? - Colorado School of Mines won the first two meetings between the two teams - 2-0 in 2010 and 1-0 in 2015 - both games in Golden - but the Pioneers pulled the series to 2-1 in the last meeting, a 1-0 TWU win in Denton on Sept. 1, 2017.
