SAN ANGELO, Texas (October 21, 2022) – To kick off the final three matches of the regular season, the Texas Woman's soccer team goes on the road to Angelo State University on Saturday, October 22.
TWU (1-7-6) will travel to Angelo State (11-2-2). In the first NCAA Division II Regional Ranking, which is in alphabetical order, Angelo State was ranked among the top eight in the South Central Region.
TWU will kick off with the Rambelles at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.

THREE POINTS FOR A DUB
- LOOK BACK: The all-time record between the Rambelles and the Pioneers is 11-19-2. The Pioneers are currently 0-2 in the past two seasons against ASU. Last season on Nov. 9, 2021, TWU lost to ASU at Pioneer Soccer Park 1-0. The Pioneers will look to limit the scoring of the Rambelles and record a result on Saturday.
- LAST WEEK: In their last matches, the Pioneers and Rambelles both recorded 1-1 ties. ASU tied UT Tyler and the Pioneers tied Lubbock Christian. On Wednesday, October 12, the Rambelles defeated LCU 2-0, while TWU recorded a 1-1 tie with UT Tyler.
- PROTECT THE NET: The Rambelles average 12.9 shots per game and 1.6 goals per game. The Pioneers will look to limit the opportunities of the Rambelles on Saturday afternoon. TWU averages 10.9 shots per game and will look to connect on a goal at ASU Soccer Field.
