LONE STAR CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES 2022 LSC CHAMPIONSHIPS BRACKET AND SCHEDULE

FRISCO, Texas (Feb. 26, 2022) – Following the final regular season games of the 2022 season on Saturday, the Lone Star Conference announced the bracket and schedule for the 2022 Lone Star Conference Championships.
 
The championships will begin on Tuesday, March 1 at on-campus sites for the first-round games, which will feature the five through 12 seeds.
 
TWU, with the second seed, will receive a first-round bye and advance to play on Friday, March 4 at 2:30 p.m. at the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas. The first through fourth seeds received the bye and will play on Friday.
 
Following the quarterfinals on Friday, the semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 5 and the weekend will end with the championship game on Sunday, March 6.
 
In their first game, TWU will face the winner of the No. 7/No. 11 game between Midwestern State University and University of Texas – Tyler.
 
Tickets for the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game can be purchased at the Comerica Center Box Office or online through Ticketmaster. Tickets will be $15 for adults and $12 for students and will be sold as single-session passes, which includes two tournament games for one session only.
 
If you are unable to make it a game at Comerica Center, all games will be streamed on the LSC Digital Network. Day passes can be purchased for $10 each tournament day and will provide access to all the games for that day.
 
On Sunday, the winner of the LSC Tournament championship game will be crowned and receive the league's automatic bid to the 2022 Division II South Central Regional held March 11, 12 and 14 at a too be determined site. The South Central Regional Champion will advance to the Division II Elite Eight on March 21, 22 and 24 in Birmingham, Alabama.
