INDIANAPOLIS (March 24, 2026) - On Tuesday, Gabby Elliott earned the first All-America honor of her career, as she was named to the D2CCA All-America Third Team. This marks Elliott's first All-America recognition and her second D2CCA honor this season.
Earlier this season, the senior forward was named to the D2CCA All-Region First Team. She now becomes the second Pioneer in program history to earn D2CCA All-America honors. Ashley Ingram is the only other Pioneer to receive the distinction, earning her fifth career All-America honor with a selection to the D2CCA All-America Second Team in 2025.
During her senior season, Elliott was named the 2025-26 Lone Star Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. She became just the second Pioneer in program history to earn LSC Player of the Year honors and the first to sweep the conference's top individual awards in the same season. The senior forward helped lead the Pioneers to a No. 1 national ranking, a 31-2 overall record and a perfect 20-0 mark in conference play, extending the program's winning streak to a record 30 games.
Elliott averaged 16 points per game while shooting 54.1% from the field. She led the conference with 11.6 rebounds per game and added 1.5 blocks per contest. She recorded 16 double-doubles and paced the LSC with 230 defensive rebounds. Elliott also earned nine LSC Player of the Week honors, the most of any player in the conference this season.
In addition to her on-court accolades, Elliott was named the LSC Academic Player of the Year and earned a spot on the All-LSC Academic Team. She was also a First Team All-LSC selection and earned LSC All-Defensive Team honors.
"Gabby is the definition of what it means to earn it," TWU head coach Beth Jillson said. "Her toughness, resilience and competitive spirit have set her apart, but it's her commitment to growth and the work she's put in every single day over the last two years that makes this honor so special. She is beyond deserving of being an All-American."
The D2CCA recognizes three All-America teams and one honorable mention team, with five players selected to each team.
