DENTON, Texas (Sept. 7, 2022) – The Texas Woman's soccer team is back at Pioneer Soccer Park after a brief road trip to Wichita Falls, Texas on Sunday afternoon.
While TWU did travel to play Midwestern State on Sunday, the game ended at the 67-minute mark and is currently suspended. As a result, TWU is still looking for its first win of 2022.
The Pioneers will look to secure a win on their home field on Thursday night against Harding at 7 p.m.

PROTECT THE PARK
- LAST MEETING: The Pioneer and Bison met last season on Sept. 4, 2021 in Searcy, Arkansas. In that meeting, the Pioneers won 2-0. All-time against the Bison, the Pioneers are 2-2-2.
- SHE'S A KEEPER: The Pioneers starting goalkeeper, Morgan Sherman, has recorded 20 saves so far this season in 55 shots faced. She currently has 74.1% save percentage. In the 67 minutes of action against Midwestern State, Sherman did not allow a goal. She will look to continue the shutout energy on Thursday night at Pioneer Soccer Park.
