A TRIP TO THE PAST
The first time these two teams faced each other was back in 2003 -a year after the TWU soccer program started. Since then, it has been a close back and forth fight between both teams. The Pioneers own the overall record 15-10-3.
TWU won four out the last five times the Pioneers and the Greyhounds have played against each other. In 2022, ENM got the three points with a goal from the now senior Emma Hafenbrak.
NAMES TO WATCH
Hayley Huff will be the Greyhound to watch tomorrow night. She currently is the only player for ENM to rank in the LSC shots on goal with seven -same list that Alyssa Striker leads with 17 shots on goals.
Striker (4) and Giselle Gutierrez (3) are the Pioneers with most goals scored this season.
TWU's defensive back line with Rylee Avery, Erica Brelove, Alyssa Valdez and Hayley Masoner and Rayne Islas will look to record their eight shutout game of the season for the Pioneers. Avery and Brelove also scored a goal each in the last two games against OC and TAMIU.
