EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!

  • A LOOK AT THE MUSTANGS: The Mustangs have a 6-1-0 record this season. MSU are on a two game LSC win streak after defeating both UT Tyler and Lubbock Christian in their last two matches, 2-1 for both games. In the match with LCU, Midwestern State was able to secure the win after a game-winning goal in the 84th minute. Against the Eagles of UT Tyler, the Mustangs scored both of their goals in the second half to secure their second consecutive LSC victory over the Eagles.

  • A LOOK AT THE PIONEERS: The Texas Woman's University team is coming off a 2-0 loss on the road against Angelo State. Before Saturday's match, the Pioneers were on a four game winning streak and 3-0 on the road before the defeat. TWU looks to get back in the win column as they take on the Mustangs at home.

  • TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE: MSU has an advantage over the Pioneers in almost every offensive stat category as they attempt more shots per game and have more shots on goal than TWU so far this season. On the other hand, Amanda Farris is top five in the LSC in goals against average and shutouts. Farris and the Pioneer's strong defensive back line will look to slow down the MSU offense and put themselves in a position to come out on top.

The Pioneers aim to defend their home turf against the Mustangs as they will honor Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night tomorrow at 7 p.m.
