FROM HEAD COACH BABAK ABOUZAR

"That was a big conference win on the road for us," Head Coach Babak Abouzar said. "We played a really good first half and were able to possess and run at their backline. Credit to Celeste for bending that corner kick in. St. Mary's had to chase the game in the second half which put us under pressure, but I'm happy for the most part with how we responded. Amanda came up big with some huge saves for us down the stretch to preserve the 1-0 win."

NEXT UP
TWU will head back north to take on No. 11 Dallas Baptist in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7 p.m.
