CANYON, Texas (Nov. 16, 2024) – It's postseason time! The Texas Woman's volleyball team returns to the Lone Star Conference Volleyball Championship.

TWU (20-7, 12-4) earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament – their highest seed in the tournament since 2015.

The Pioneers will be in the LSC Championships for the second straight season, marking the first back-to-back appearances for TWU since the 2018 and 2019 seasons. It marks the 24th appearance all-time in the tournament for TWU.

The 2024 LSC Volleyball Championship will be hosted at No. 1 West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas.

As the No. 4 seed, TWU will meet No. 5 Dallas Baptist (18-8, 12-4). In the regular season, the Pioneers defeated the Lady Patriots in five sets.

In the most recent NCAA South Central Regional Rankings, the Pioneers were ranked No. 5, and DBU was ranked No. 6.

The Pioneers and the Lady Patriots will meet on Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Nov. 21 at 12 p.m., No. 3 UT Tyler and No. 6 St. Mary's will begin the 2024 LSC Championships. Then, No. 2 Angelo State will meet No. 7 Oklahoma Christian at 2:30 p.m.

The tournament host will open the second slate of games on Thursday, as WT will meet No. 8 Lubbock Christian at 5 p.m., with the Pioneers and Lady Patriots following.

The winner of TWU and DBU will meet the winner of WT and LCU in the LSC Semifinals on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The Championship match is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23 at 6 p.m.

Every match in the LSC Volleyball Tournament will be available live on FloCollege. Monthly ($19.99) and yearly ($107.88) subscriptions are available. Persons with an .edu email address from an LSC member institution will be able to sign up at a discounted subscription price of $9.99 per month or $69.99 for the year.

Tickets and other tournament information will be released by West Texas A&M this week.
